The Community Spirit Block Bottles Project

A limited edition collection that added real local flavor
and celebrated three pretty special blocks 🍸

_____

The Community Spirit vodka brand is all about honoring and uplifting local communities. So, when we were asked to create a limited-edition vodka collection, we knew we had to celebrate communities on local level. Like really local. Distilled down to a city block.

Each Block Bottle pays tribute to a one-of-a-kind block: the invention of street golf with Minetta Lane’s Tiger Hood in NYC, the roots of Tex-Mex with the Chili Queens of Military Plaza in San Antonio, and the cultural heartbeat of Black music and art on Leimert Blvd in Los Angeles and .

Every bottle features artwork from a local artist and a cocktail recipe inspired by that block’s distinct flavor and spirit.

I loved this project because it made us think small.

What I mean is, celebrating the real impact a small area, like a city block, can have on a wider community. Even on the larger world as a whole. Getting specific, and really detailed about what makes these individual blocks powerful helped us transmit a much bigger message about our role in communities.

That’s something worth raising a glass to!
